Juliano Alcântara Noman was appointed Director of ANAC (National Civil Aviation Agency), Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Authority, in April 12, 2016, to carry out his term until March 19, 2021.
Before said appointment, he served at the Civil Aviation Ministry, as Secretary of Air Navigation, from 2013 to 2016, and as Secretary of Airports, from 2011 until 2013.
Mr. Noman is a civil aviation regulation specialist in ANAC, where he has occupied several positions, such as Manager of the Market Monitoring Branch, from 2006 to 2008. From 2008 up until 2011, he was the Head of the Department of Economic
Regulation and Market Monitoring of the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency.
Mr. Noman holds an undergraduate degree in Economics (Universidade de
Brasília – UNB, 2000) and has an extension course on Airport Infrastructure
Management (Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica – ITA).
