The 7th edition of Portugal Air Summit – the benchmark event for Aviation, Aeronautics, Space and Defense in Portugal – is about to get underway, focusing on “Flying 4 Change”. Portugal Air Summit takes place from October 10 to 12 in Ponte de Sor, where the fundamental changes taking place in the sector will be discussed and an attempt will be made to redefine the role of Portugal and its service industry in the global context.
The summit offers networking opportunities, updates on the latest projects and technological and operational innovations, and emphasizes the importance of sustainability, the promotion of environmentally friendly practices and long-term competitiveness, constituting a vital forum for the strategic and sustainable development of the aeronautics and aerospace industry.
Always focusing on current affairs and the discussion of issues relevant to today’s society, the debates will cover the following areas:
- Knowledge and opportunities;
- Sustainability;
- Digital transition;
- Strategic vision and investments;
- Regulation;
- Leaders for the future.
The first two days of the summit are dedicated to conferences, with the following program:
On the morning of the 10th, the central theme will be “Space”, with panels such as ‘Aero.Next: Products and Perspectives’ and ‘Investment Dynamics in the Portuguese Space Sector’;
In the afternoon of the same day, the discussions will revolve around “Aeronautics”, with the highlight being the panel on ‘New Lisbon Airport: multiplier effect on the regional economy’;
On the morning of the 11th, the area of “Defense” will be in the spotlight, with a variety of panels and discussions, including the use of renewable energies in aviation;
On the afternoon of the 11th, the focus will be on “Aviation”, with debates such as ‘Leading Airlines into the Future’ and ‘UAVs & Advanced Air Mobility Road Maps’.
