The seventh edition has the strategic theme “Flying 4 Change,” where the fundamental changes in the sector will be discussed, seeking to redefine the role of Portugal, its industry, and services in the global context.
The summit offers networking opportunities, updates on the latest projects and technological and operational innovations, and emphasizes the importance of sustainability, promoting eco-friendly practices, and long-term competitiveness. It serves as a vital forum for the strategic and sustainable development of the aerospace and aviation industry.
The Portugal Air Summit, held since 2017 and in 2018 as a partnership between the Municipality of Ponte de Sor and the event’s promoter, ACIPS – Commercial and Industrial Association of Ponte de Sor, is part of a strategy to position, promote, and develop the sector in the region and the country. It has directly contributed to attracting investment that generates jobs and economic dynamics, helping retain families and reverse the cycle of desertification in the Alentejo region.
Under the theme “Flying 4 Change,” this edition will include a conference series, exhibition areas, air shows, and various recreational activities designed for all audiences visiting the event over the three days.
On October 10 and 11, Thursday and Friday, respectively, the program will feature conferences, and on October 12, a recreational program will take place, featuring an exciting AIRSHOW and the Portugal Air Summit athletics race.
